This Cosa clutch has been standard equipment on all PX Lusso and Cosa 125 cc models since approximately 1995 and has established itself as a robust solution for both everyday use and performance-tuned engines. Thanks to the four pre-installed clutch plates, eight springs, and the solid clutch basket, significantly more power can be transmitted smoothly, making it an ideal foundation for tuned engines. The pre-assembled design also makes installation in your scooter easier.
Note: With its 20 teeth, this clutch can be used in 80 cc, 125 cc, and 150 cc engines without modifying the primary sprocket. For 200 cc engines, the primary sprocket must be adjusted. In general, the Cosa clutch can be used in all Vespa large-frame models such as the GL, Super, Sprint, GT, GTR, TS, Rally, PX, Cosa, and T5. For 125 cc and 150 cc engines, the clutch cover from the 200 cc model is required, unless the original clutch cover is to be modified.
