Want to do more than just ride your moped – and actually understand how it works? In the mofakult Academy wrenching courses at Siggnature Bikes, Sigg and Chrigel show you how to properly handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and engine rebuilds.

No dry theory here. We explain everything directly on the moped or engine, walk you through each step, and let you get your own hands dirty. Questions are definitely encouraged – after all, you’re here to leave knowing more than when you arrived.

The courses cover everything from maintenance and roadside repairs to complete engine rebuilds for Sachs and Puch engines.

To make sure there’s plenty of time for explanations, hands-on practice, and questions, we intentionally keep the groups small. Standard courses are limited to 5 to 12 participants, while the more in-depth engine rebuild courses are limited to 3 to 6 participants.

Courses take place on Wednesday afternoons. And because wrenching together is all about sharing knowledge and experience, there’s naturally time for a break, too.

In our engine courses, you’ll work on your own engine, removed from the moped and brought to the course. On the first day, you’ll take it apart and inspect it together with us. With our help, you’ll then determine which replacement parts you need and order them to your home. Over the following course days, you’ll rebuild the engine properly, step by step.

This way, you won’t just learn how an engine rebuild works – you’ll do it yourself, with professionals by your side checking the key steps along the way.

Removing and reinstalling the engine, as well as the final tuning, are not part of the engine rebuild. You can take care of these at home – or during a visit to our Open Garage.

For safety and insurance reasons, machines such as lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment may only be operated by the Siggnature Bikes team. For all courses, please also make sure to wear closed-toe shoes.

For engine rebuild courses, any required replacement parts are charged separately from the course fee. We’ll determine together which parts your engine actually needs once it has been taken apart.

Working on your own moped is a lot more fun when you know what you’re doing. In the mofakult Academy wrenching courses, Sigg and Chrigel from Siggnature Bikes show you what really matters when it comes to maintenance, repairs, and engine rebuilds.

From the Sachs 503, 50/2, and 50/3 to the Puch E50 and Z50, you’ll get to know different moped engines and learn step by step how to properly take them apart, inspect them, and rebuild them. And to make sure you don’t need a tow truck the moment something goes wrong on the road, the SOS Moped Breakdown Course teaches you how to handle common roadside problems.

Real workshop know-how, hands-on and without the unnecessary blah blah. So the next time something goes wrong, you’ll know which screw to turn.
